REM Life's Rich Pageant (2011 US Deluxe 25th Anniversary
Edition double CD issue of their 1986 fourth studio release
comprising of the 12-track digitally remastered CD featuring
the singles Fall Of Me and Superman plus a Bonus
19-track CD containing drafts of Pageant's 12 songs,
alongside additional demos of songs that were later recorded
for other releases; including early versions of Bad Day, Rotary
Ten, Two Steps Onward, Mystery To Me, All The Right Friends
and March Song[King Of Birds], an early instrumental version
of King Of Birds [from 'Document'] plus 'Wait', which had
never before been officially released by R.E.M. in any form,
but it had shown up on bootlegs over the years. The two discs
look barely played in their individual card wallet picture
sleeves housed in the clamshell picture box which has some
shelfwear to one edge but comes complete with a 24" x 36"
poster, four postcards and a picture booklet with liner notes
by music journalist and author Parke Puterbaugh!)
