BLACK SABBATH Paranoid (Monster Rare 1970 Japanese first press 8-track LP on the blue & silver Philips label manufactured by Nippon Phonogram, pressed on black vinyl which is translucent Vinyl when held tothe light. Housed in a deluxe gatefold picture sleeve variant with Japanese text & English lyrics printed inside, with some amusing misinterpretations. This copy is complete with the near mythical original Vertigo obi-strip with the earliest 1950yen price point. The obi-strip is much rarer than the album itself, most of them now discarded, this highly collectable delicate piece of paper proclaims the album to be the highest level of heavy rock sound! The sleeve has just a little light general wear with some light signs of handling, and some very light shelf wear around the edges forgivable with age, and a past owner has hand written each sides length in pen. The obi remains firmly intact with no tears or rips, and has just a little light foxing. The labels are clean with just light spindle marks, and apart from a couple of light hairlines and a few light surface scuffs, the vinyl remains Excellent.
