THE CURE Grinding Halt (Super Rare 1979 UK promotional-only vinyl 12" with black & white paper labels with custom 'Not For Sale' print, machine stamped matrices & 'Strawberry' etched in the run-outs. This was originally considered for being The Cure's second single but was aborted in favour of 'Boys Don't Cry' after feedback from radio programmers was less enthusiastic. This is now considered to be one of the hardest Cure promotional items to find! Also includes the b-side 'Meat Hook'. Comes housed in the original custom-stickered plain card sleeve. The sleeve displays some discolouration and creasing to the opening edge leavin it in Very Good condition & the vinyl is in Excellent condition. A fantastic copy of this hard to find promo CUR-1)
