BO DIDDLEY In The Spotlight (Rare 1964 UK first issue 12-track Mono vinyl LP, on the yellow & orange R&B Series Pye International label, originally released in the US in 1960 on the Checker label. Classic set from Mr Diddley, his fifth longplayerin two years! Includes the huge hit single 'Roadrunner', alongside the Caribbean flavoured 'Limber', doo-wop and some up-tempo gospel rockers - essential. Players includes Billy Boy Arnold, Otis Spann and Willie Dixon, housed in a front laminated flipback picture sleeve. This one owner copy is in really nice condition, apart from the composer name written next to the tracks on the unlaminated back, the sleeve displays minimal wear with intact flipbacks, and the non-laminated back shows little signs of age. The labels remain very clean with just a very light sticker mark, whilst the vinyl has just very, very light signs of play. A really nice example and the first we have ever seen NPL28034
