J Dilla Donuts US 7" box set

J DILLA Donuts (2013 US limited edition 34-track Eight Vinyl 7" Box Set. Originally released in 2006, just three days before Dilla's untimely death, Donuts would be Jay Dee's final solo album to showcase his genius. Famed for his work with everyone from A Tribe Called Quest to Erykah Badu, his own material was just as important and Donuts is deserving of the universal acclaim it received upon release. Records 1–7 contain the full Donuts album, with each 45 featuring two tracks perside. Record 8 (Bonus Disc) includes rare tracks not found on the original album, recorded in late 2005 and released digitally in 2008, but this box set marks their first appearance on vinyl. Housed in a picture box with a flip up lid. The packaging features artwork by Jeff Jank, with each record designed to resemble a frosted donut (different design each side), complete with a playful "nutrition label" indicating 100% daily value of Vitamins J and D. The box displays light wear and the vinyl has minimal signs of play)
